This savory pumpkin pasta sauce, seasoned with sage, is a great fall alternative to traditional tomato-based sauce. This recipe make a generous portion. Here, I served it with pasta, but it can also be used on pizza or as a dipping sauce alongside fresh-baked breadsticks.
10 Minute Vegan Pumpkin Pasta Sauce

Ingredients:
1/2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup vegan heavy cream
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp dried sage
Salt and pepper
1lb Pasta
Directions:
Turn the burner to low/medium and add the pumpkin puree, vegetable stock, sage, garlic and a generous amount of salt and pepper to a medium saucepan. Cook for 7-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in the vegan heavy cream. Cover and set aside.
While the sauce is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Once the pasta is finished cooking, drain it and add the sauce.
